To cook the quinoa, must be used three parts of water or the quinoa water for a part of seed.
The Quinoa must be washed before getting cooked to eliminate the saponina that contains, therefore it must be washed some seconds with cold water. In this way, we could eliminate it. If the time passes more than 2 minutes, the saponina will remain in the surface and it will not be eliminated.
To proceed to cook the quinoa, 15 minutes must be cooked or until the seed get a transparent color. To know if it is well cooked, one must compare them with the pasta.
Quinoa can also be vaporized very easily, about 20 minutes. Serve immediately freshly cooked to maintain its flavor and nutritional value. If you prefer you can toast the grains in a frying pan before cooking them to give them a nutty taste.
